We’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Mary Elliott, our newest addition to the Casebrook family!

Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Dr. Mary brings a wealth of experience and compassion to our practice. She holds a postgraduate medical degree from the University of Warwick and has garnered extensive experience through various hospital roles in the UK. In early 2017, Dr. Mary completed her GP training, paving the way for her remarkable journey in healthcare.  Driven by a passion for global health, Dr. Mary dedicated a year to serving as a doctor in South Africa through a charitable program. Additionally, she established a non-profit organization in Tanzania, where she worked tirelessly until 2019, making a profound impact on communities in need.

In 2022, Dr. Mary made Christchurch her home and spent 15 months practicing in North Canterbury before joining us here at Casebrook Surgery in 2023.  Dr. Mary’s expertise extends to Women’s Health, where she has a keen interest and proficiency in Long Acting Contraception, including the Mirena, Jaydess, and Jadelle. She also specialises in Skin Cancer and Diabetes management. As a bilingual practitioner, Dr. Mary is fluent in French, enriching our practice with diverse language capabilities.

Outside of her medical endeavors, Dr. Mary finds joy in exploring the great outdoors with her husband and three boys. Whether it’s scaling mountains or enjoying a refreshing swim, she embraces every moment with enthusiasm and zest.  Join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Mary Elliott.
