From the 26th of April Dr Madelin will be providing telehealth (video and phone) consultations every Wednesday morning. These will be open to previous patients as well as those who do not require a face-to-face appoints e.g. for a medical or WINZ certificate, or repeat prescriptions with no concerns. These appointments will benefit those who struggle to travel to the surgery or take time off work. They can be booked via Manage My Health or over the phone with reception.

Dr Madelin graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012, completing her resident years at The Royal Brisbane Hospital before immigrating to Christchurch in 2015. She has worked as a medical registrar in diverse areas including endocrinology, transfusion medicine, obstetric medicine, general medicine and oncology. Since entering General Practice she has developed a special interest in youth health, sexual health and gender affirming care. She practices from a “Health at Every Size” ethos. As a mother of 3 young children, during her spare time, she also enjoys cycling and sewing.
